Dear colleagues!

We, like you, care about a problem with cruelty to street dogs. Indeed, as shows the analysis of information periodicals, in our country there are isolated cases of abuse of some citizens to the street dogs, herewith scenes of abuse recorded on video and then distributed on Internet sites. This situation strongly condemned by citizens and government. These cases investigates by the relevant authorities, carried out explanatory work among the population, create shelters for such animals, shall be carried out measures for their sterilization, and bring to justice those guilty of cruelty to stray dogs.

We have started a public awareness campaign on protecting animals from inhuman treatment, reported about this a guidance of the Ministry of Emergency, as a government executive authorities of Ukraine, as a major event such as IRO World Championship, we spend the first time. This is a very important event for us: it has significance for the professional growth of Ukrainian rescue-cynologists, prospects of development of contacts and mutual assistance with other countries in matters of quality and timely emergency response, including the organization of the search of people affected by service dogs. We want to assure you that we will make every effort for a successful IRO World Championship; we will try to make a true celebration of humanity and responsible attitude to our four paws favorites.

You are rescue-cynologists with extensive professional experience, and we consider you our friends, and look forward to Your support, understanding and sincere friendly assistance in solving this problem, because for us it is indeed a real disaster, which occurred on the eve of the Championship! We are not in any way deny the facts that occurred in our state, but rather try to deal with them and continue to prevent something like that. We look forward to your sincere support and asking you to provide all possible assistance in solving this problem. We are ready for dialogue and cooperation in resolving this issue. Your understanding in this situation is the most important for us.

Welcome you to the 18th IRO World Championship, to be held in Ukraine. We are sure that you spend your time interesting and useful and make sure that the highlight events not stay out of public attention and our state is humane, developed country, which is not indifferent to fate of homeless dogs.
